  • Processing

    Upon receiving spent automotive catalytic converters, they are inspected and subjected to the decanning process. Next, industrial mills grind the ceramic honeycomb inside the catalytic converter into small fraction particles.

  • Sampling

    The crushed ceramics are thoroughly mixed into a homogeneous substance. Then, a representative sample from each lot is collected to accurately determine the precious metal content.

  • Assaying

    The determination of Platinum (Pt), Palladium (Pd), and Rhodium (Rh) content from the representative sample is conducted using industry-standard XRF and ICP metal assaying methods.

  • Settlement

    After the assaying stage, once the exact PGM content is determined, we offer flexible price hedging and settlement solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
